Attorney Mayra Navarro-Casillas founded the Navarro Law Group. Ms. Navarro graduated from the prestigious UCLA School of Law. She has an intimate understanding of the plight of immigrants, not simply because of her ownexperience as an immigrant, but also by virtue of her commitment to protecting the human and civil rights of all immigrants.
As the National Legislative Staff Attorney at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), Ms. Navarro worked tirelessly to fight increased immigration enforcement efforts that threaten the civil and human rights of anyone that can be perceived to be an immigrant.
Ms. Navarro has successfully litigated complex immigration and nationality law cases in Immigration Court; the Board of Immigration Appeals; the U.S. District Court, Central District of California; and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
