I have been practicing U.S. immigration law since the late 1970's. I initially was the Assistant Director of the Los Angeles County Bar legal aid clinic in downtown Los Angeles, and then was an Associate with an immigration law firm in Beverly Hills. Since 1986, I have been the counseling immigration attorney for the University of California, San Diego, as well as maintaining a private immigration law practice in downtown San Diego.
