Ms. Bonilla is directly involved with each case at every step of the way. She, rather than a paralegal or secretary, makes all decisions, prepares the cases, and answers all clients’ questions. For business clients, she presents an on-site overview and training in business immigration processes. Ms. Bonilla has been practicing Immigration Law since 1987.
Ms. Bonilla has given presentations and led discussions on immigration law at the request of the National office of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the University of California at Berkeley, the California Association of Business Brokers, the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, the Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, and the Catholic Charities Immigration Counseling Center. She has served as AILA Liaison to the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in San Jose (for two AILA chapters), and the San Francisco Legalization office. She has also served as Secretary to the Santa Clara County chapter of AILA and Vice Chairperson of the California Service Center Liaison Committee on behalf of Santa Clara Valley AILA.
