 ABOUT  US

Immigration Counsel is a full service immigration law firm.  This means that our entire practice is focused on immigration law, with cases ranging from family to asylum to employment to deportation defense.

5 principles are central to our work every day.

  1. PASSIONATE.  We love what we do.  Why? There is no greater satisfaction than helping our clients. We mean that.  Our client, after obtaining the green card from winning a difficult Cancellation of Removal case said, "I have not seen my mother in 17 years." He is now able to see her. That is job satisfaction- the ability to truly impact someone's life.  We thrive on the challenges faced every day. Immigration law is very complicated and is always changing.  We continuously need to think of creative solutions and keep abreast of the latest development. We learn something new with each client.  The result: we love helping you.

  1. HONEST.  We will always act in an honest manner- with you and with THE IMMIGRATION AUTHORITIES.  Immigration is emotional.  All immigrants want to do the right thing--  to have legal immigration status in the United States to work and be united with family.  It is for that very reason that immigrants are often taken advantage of.   Notaries and attorneys sometimes provide unrealistic and false advice to immigrants.  This is wrong.  You deserve to know the truth about your case. You deserve to know your chances of success.  We carefully evaluate each client's case and provide advise that is honest and based on current law.  We cannot guarantee any result, but we can guarantee that we will tell you the truth and will do our best to help you while following the law.

  1. RESOURCEFUL.  We know how to be creative and find solutions.  We use many resources in each case.  Not only do we have a wealth of information in our office, but we have access to many other resources, such as our colleagues (other immigration attorneys), our professional association, psychiatrists, experts and directly with immigration officials.   We form professional relationships with immigration officers and judges.  We cultivate and value these relationships as they can be extremely helpful for our clients- you.

  1. COMMITTED. We are committed to each client's case.  We do not believe that one size fits all. On the contrary, we understand and recognize that each client's case is different.  Immigration law is very fact-specific.  It is for this reason that we take the time to get to know you and to carefully evaluate your case. It is our job to ask the right questions to provide the best solutions. We do not rush you out of our office.  We do not ignore your calls. We always try to be available.

  1. COST-EFFECTIVE.  We are committed to providing excellent service at reasonable rates.  We understand the importance of providing affordable services. All of our cases are flat rates.  This means you will never be surprised by a bill. You will know upfront exactly what you will owe.  We will clearly explain everything that the flat rate includes and does not include (such as the fees paid directly to the Department of Homeland Security).  We are flexible and will work out a monthly payment plan with you, if necessary.  We believe in mutual financial respect.
