Nita J Itchhaporia is the Managing Attorney of Counsellaw, a Professional Law Corporation, established in 1994, located in Downtown San Jose, California. Ms. Itchhaporia represents and counsels corporations and individuals on in-bound and out-bound Immigration matters. Ms. Itchhaporia is the current AILA SCV Liaison to the San Jose CIS Field Office. She is the prior Chair of the AILA SCV Chapter, former member of the National AILA CSC, USCIS Benefits Policy, and Business Immigration/ Advocacy Liaison Committees and former Chair of the AILA National DHS/ USCIS Ombudsman Liaison Committee. She has been practicing Business Immigration law for more than 12 years and has served as an AILA mentor. She frequently lectures and gives talks on Business Immigration at local and national conferences, to local bar associations, and to various educational centers. She also provides pro bono legal service to various community based non-profits.
