BSIS and Mr. Caouette have handled a variety of business and family immigration matters. Focused initially on securing employment visas for foreign professionals, including an extensive practice representing foreign athletes, Mr. Caouette has since expanded his practice to include both family-based and employment-based permanent residence, mainly for existing business and individual clients.
Mr. Caouette has developed a national practice varying from Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietors, athletes and entertainers to business investors and corporate executives. Mr. Caouette has also established an appellate practice, arguing cases before the Second, Fourth, Eighth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal.
Mr. Caouette’s significant pro bono contributions, specifically in asylum and VAWA matters, have resulted in awards from organizations such as Human Rights Watch and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His commitment to public service also gained him the University of Virginia School of Law Public Service Award.
