Belma Demirovic Chinchoy focuses on business immigration law and applies her expertise to serve the unique immigration needs of foreign investors, entrepreneurs and start-up companies. Belma has extensive experience representing businesses and investors in EB-5 matters as well as corporations and employees in employment-based immigration matters. She also assists US-based businesses obtain Regional Center designation from USCIS. For several years, Belma's practice focused on representing EB-5 clients (investors and regional centers) who had received Requests for Evidence (RFE) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOID) from USCIS. This extensive experience with USCIS’ RFEs and NOIDs now enables Belma to provide sound and strategic counsel to her clients thus enabling them to prepare petitions that are approvable upon filing.
With a detailed understanding of EB-5 law and USCIS policies, Belma's goal is to create successful EB-5 petitions and an approachable EB-5 process for individual investors and business entities.
Belma is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of California and California Central DistrictFederal Court. Belma attended both William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota and Pepperdine University Law School in California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Politics, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
